one consultant has told me that he wud process the admission for jan2010 intake for ms in cs
and i wanna knw how wud be the univ and parttimes,
costliving etc.,
Answer
If you are serious about doing master course, I would suggest to wait for the admission and not to go for diploma course. But admission fees are high for master compared to diploma course. Any diploma course in Canada would range from 9,000 to 15,000 $.
One of the advantage of doing Master course is you will be eligible for 3 years open work permit, whereas after diploma you get 1 year open work permit. It would be very easy to apply for immigration as permanent resident with 3 years of work experience or permit.
On average the cost of living can range from $10,000 to $12,000 depending on living lifestyle of the student. In Canada, a student is allowed to do off-campus job only after 6 months of study period, however student can do on-campus job right away. In Brock University, finding on-campus job is easy and there are many choices to choose from.
Brock university is well known for accounting courses, but i there are some Indian students coming for computer courses too. In computer field it really does not matter from where you are doing the course as far as the university is authentic. So i don't see any reason for looking for rankings of the university for computer science course. It mostly depends on your ability of working hard on programming and networking exercises, resources at university are abundant.

Thankyou Pinku
and how far i can rely on agent?
means whether i can trust him or not
please tell
Thanku for ur prompt reply
which helped me a lot
It depends how well you know the agent. It is a fact that agents have tie up with the universities and they earn commission for it. Sometimes it ranges from 5 to 10 % of your total fee for the course that agent get as commission. But the good part is you anyhow pay the same amount whether you go through agent or not and it is more easy process to get admission through agents.
I would suggest to do your own research before completely relying on agents. If you think your profile is high with good grades, you can apply to other universities on your own. But if you don't have good grades and admission seems tough, better go as agents recommend.
For instance, i applied to Brock university on my own without any agent help. Luckily the process went easy for me, but there was no guarantee of getting admission. So it is all about taking chances.
So what i would suggest is take admission through agent in their suggested university and simultaneously apply to your desired universities on your own. At the end you can easily switch universities once you secure visa, the only thing is you will save time and have options in hand at the time of deciding which university to go.
So how did u apply for admission into Brock University?/
If I talk with the International services director wud it be of any use????
for getting my admission,

want to apply for Ms in CS
I just followed the requirements on the website, and pretty much it is same for all the universities, just the score requirement varies but documents are pretty much the same. You will probably require same documents that your agent use for university application (not college application).
As the university suggests they are looking for 70 or 75 score in undergraduate or gre if you have low scores. Since you have not submitted GRE score, i feel you should email the program director on those requirements. Your toefl IBT score sounds good (6.5 to 7 ielts equivalent), but you undergrad percentage is quite low. Therefore, i would suggest taking GRE or email program director to confirm.

Follow this link to apply online and plus you have to post document along with online application form. You also have to pay application fee, it will be $100 or so.
Thank you again
